New Price Brackets

My research is all based around what I am looking for namely something about 57 foot.
The comments here are based on what I have seen. I will not mention makes etc as I think that would be unfair.
Should you know of a something different please let me know.

Upto £50,000

These boats tend to be made with a cheaper type interior. There is plenty of MDF.
These also tend not to have inverters or central heating.
These tend to be mass produced boats with little customisation.
These tend to be made abroad.

£50,000 to £60,000

These still tend to have MDF interiors.
These still tend to be the mass produced boats made abroad with a slight amount of customisation, i.e. changes to interior finishes.
These tend to offer inverters and heating.

£60,000 to £70,000

The top end of the foreign boats.
The bottom end of the UK custom build boats, probably with a 'mass produced' hull but with a specialist fitment to allow you to do what you want.

£70,000 plus

This is where you get to go to a boat builder and get what you want exactly.
Here the wood is wood, the lighting is LEDs, and generally there is more of a feel to everything.

Conclusions

Not wishing to upset any builders, but in my opinion I do not want a boat the same as the guy I am moored next to!
For some poeople the cheaper boats are great and it meets there needs. To them I say good luck and happy boating.
Me I am fussy, at the moment I am trying to work out between a custom build completely or the slightly cheaper semi-off the shelf version.
